San Diego was a nice, although quick, trip. I was there with my co-worker for just over 2 days for a conference put on by the APDIM for Program Administrators. It was a great conference with some good networking and meeting some really good people!
Although our hotel - Sheraton - was right next to the airport, it was quiet in the rooms. I did manage to get a picture of a flying saucer!
Monica and myself met up with three of our four new Chief Residents - Mike, Melina and Firas (standing for pictures on the "boardwalk" with Coronado Island in the background) -
for some bonding and getting to know each other better. Mohamed left right before the pictures because he had to check to make certain that his wife was okay.
This picture is proof that I stuck with my diet. No sundae for me!!
